LOWA’s new hiking boot model can almost be described as being cut from the same cloth. Its upper is made of a piece of nubuck leather in closed lacing system.
Features of the LOWA Ranger GTX Men’s Trekking Boots
- 100% GORE-TEX Equipped with GORE-TEX membrane, making the shoe reliably waterproof, windproof and breathable
- The VIBRAM®-APPTRAIL-DIVO sole has a modern, self-cleaning profile. It proves its exceptional capabilities particularly when it is put to the test on challenging terrain. The sole’s features are complemented on every terrain by the distinctive heel front that excels during descents.
- 2 Zone Lacing: The forefoot and upper area can be laced in varying degrees of tightness
- X-Lacing: Holds the tongue in place with the help of the laces and prevents slippage in the process
- C4-Tongue: Special tongue construction with asymmetric padding for even pressure distribution
- As a result of its construction, the footwear exhibits a strong resistance to bending
- The shoe can be resoled
- Upper material: 100% Nubuck leather
- Weight per shoe: 760 gram (EU 42 | UK 8)
In addition to the slip-free C4 tongue, the X-LACING® system and waterproof GORE-TEX lining also ensure all-round comfort. These features not only keep your feet dry on soggy and cold days but also guarantee an ideal climate inside the shoe itself. The real highlight, however, is the newly developed VIBRAM APPTRAIL DIVO sole, which consists of two PU layers with different degrees of hardness. The softer section below the heel and in the ball area provides the cushioning you need. The harder section delivers additional stability. The sole is rounded out in the truest sense of the word by the slightly curved shape in the forefoot area, which improves rolling properties and ensures comfortable walkability.
